A Good Loss

Once again, no proteins in the urine. And 5 less pounds on the scale as well. (so yes, we were looking at fluid gain, not fat gain from pred.) I will be keeping her weight recorded regularly now so I can definitively say whether she is experiencing weight gain or fluid gain.

Little brother woke up with a fever this morning. Hope it's just molars coming in (non-contagious) as opposed to one of the cold/flus that (contagious) that are appearantly going around. I'm keeping them separated - just in case.

Hang in there Momma Bear! Grandma will be there soon to help. Wish we could come too, but that's a whole new set of germs you don't need right now. Love you!

Feel lucky it's just water weight and she can lose it fast. Gray get's an appetite like no other when he's on this med and of course being a kid he wants all the stuff thats high in protien. He usually gains between 10 & 12 lbs. when he on the high dose, luckily he's a kid and stays active so most of it sheds off really quick after the med is taperd down. I'm really glad she's responding. maybe soon she'll be off the yuck pred. and be able to feel like herself again. It's been so long her little body deserves a break.
